Damp, condensation, humidity: call it what you like - it's still a nuisance as it is likely to cause fabrics to rot, mildew to form and an unpleasant musty smell to permeate the whole house. This eco-friendly dehumidifier sorts the problem out in an ingenious low-tech fashion. The fabric outer cover is filled with activated carbon, a stone granulate composition that absorbs up to 60 per cent of its weight in moisture. Ideal for cupboards and drawers, sports trainers, near electrical equipment and on windowsills, it's practical, very economical and lasts almost indefinitely. After about three months just dry it on a radiator in a microwave or oven and it's restored to as-new efficiency. Weight: 500g.
